Packaging services for low runs and many designs

Four connected services built around one problem: you need several different designs, each in a small quantity. We cover producing those small offset runs, validating artwork before plates are made, holding die-cut and colour tolerances across every design, and preparing the EU compliance record that follows your goods.

In short

Grexprint delivers four packaging services for teams that need low volumes and multiple designs: flexible low-volume offset runs, artwork validation, precise die-cutting with repeatable colour, and EU PPWR documentation with material verification and batch traceability. Quotes are based on box size, artwork and target quantity.

Service 01

Flexible low-volume electronic packaging

Electronics teams rarely need tens of thousands of boxes for a first production run. We structure press time so you order the quantity your launch actually needs, then reorder cleanly when demand grows.

Thanks to our shared-plate production model, plate capacity is allocated across compatible jobs, so genuine offset quality is available at low volumes.

  • Runs sized to launch batches, pilot builds and multi-SKU families
  • Repeat orders held to the same colour and material reference
  • Mixed SKUs or language variants scheduled in one press window
  • Amazon marketplace sellers: see Amazon FBA compliant packaging for electronics sellers

Typical enquiry

Product size, quantity, board preference, finish and destination market — that is enough for us to return a production option and price.

File checklist

  • Print-ready PDF / PDF‑X-1a or PDF‑X-4
  • 300 dpi images at final size, CMYK + spot colours
  • Outlined fonts, no low-resolution raster text
  • 3 mm bleed, 2 mm safety margin
  • Die-line supplied as a separate vector layer
Service 02

Artwork validation

Before any plate is produced, your files go through a pre-press review against our print and structural requirements. We flag anything that would cause a reject later: missing bleed, RGB imagery, unembedded fonts, barcode sizes that will not scan, safety text too close to the trim.

You receive a marked-up review plus corrected file suggestions, so approval happens once instead of three times.

  • Colour space, resolution and bleed checks
  • Barcode and regulatory symbol verification
  • Structural review of die-lines against product dimensions
Service 03

Precise die-cut & colour consistency

Electronics packaging has to assemble fast on a packing line and protect the device in transit. Cutting accuracy and predictable creasing matter more than decorative effects, so those are the tolerances we hold.

Colour is managed against agreed reference values and retained samples, keeping your brand colour stable between repeat runs and across different items in the same kit.

  • Hard tooling for repeatable cut geometry
  • Reference-based colour control with documented tolerances
  • Finish options: matte or gloss lamination, soft-touch, spot UV, foil

Service 04

EU PPWR compliance, material verification & batch traceability

We treat documentation as part of the deliverable, not an afterthought. Each production run can ship with a documentation set covering EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation requirements, verified material data, and batch-level traceability.

  • PPWR-aligned packaging compliance documentation
  • Material composition verification for boards, papers and finishes
  • Batch traceability records linking goods to their production run
  • Change notifications when a substrate specification changes
